A 4th grade story that reinforced a limiting belief


Hey there!

Just released a new podcast episode! I shared my personal journey of confronting and working through negative core beliefs/ limiting beliefs. I shed a little light on the impact of childhood experiences and the lasting effects of carrying these beliefs into adulthood.

I opened up and highlighted the pivotal moments from my own life that led to the development/reinforcement of my negative core beliefs, specifically around not feeling smart enough and not feeling good enough. I walk through a defining experience in fourth grade that left a lasting impression on me, and how it influenced my perceptions and self-worth.

The episode also focused on the importance of awareness and self-compassion in addressing and overcoming these limiting beliefs. I discussed the power of intentionally rewiring our thoughts and behaviors, emphasizing the significance of repetition in reinforcing new, empowering beliefs.
